Albert is the best Maltese chef and his guests are very lucky. We have appreciated his way of thiking and living. He's very friendly. If you want to taste the special Maltese cuisine and meet people coming from everywhere have a wonderful break at Albert's caffe. All the best my best friend

Quirky little bar on the slope of St Johns Street in Valletta, always get a warm welcome from Albert the bar's owner who has a great knowledge of the Maltese islands . Just be careful on the slope!

Just off the main tourist route this on one of the many good "very good" local Malta bars. Albert is so laid back you could amost serve yourself. Not serving food at the moment but hopefully once he has got himself married that might change but I think he enjoys chatting to his customers / friends so much he wouldn't... More

Small but cosy. With a great view down to the grand harbour. There's free Wifi available and the manager is always in for a good chat.

The location is not the best, but when you enter this cute wine bar you will be surprised by the level of personalised service, good choice of wine and delicious platters.

Have waited a while before posting this review..simply because when you discover a perfect place you worry that its perfection may be ruined by change. L'ingliz tea room is a little bar restaurant hidden down a side street in Valetta - it tends to seem to attract locals and probably the occasional tourists like ourselves. The night we stumbled upon... More

We went out for snacks. 3 glasses of wine and an expresso later...the owner is granting us a full access tour!! How cool is that!! Great conversation and perspective regarding life in Malta!! Don't miss out on this place!!!

This utterly wonderful small bar has the biggest, friendliest welcome in Valletta - from Alberto, the owner, to the eclectic mix of customers anyone could ever wish to meet.

We dropped in one night by chance for a light snack. The outside tables seemed very inviting on this narrow pedestrian street. We were immediately entertained by the quite wonderful and gregarious owner Alberto, who was laid back, charming and very friendly. The restaurant is a marvel with amazing fresh dishes prepared expertly by Alberto – I can’t recommend enough... More
