We called in for a snack one afternoon and returned for lunch the next day. No overly fussy but good value home cooked food with excellent friendly staff. The arancini balls are a definite must. We were so impressed by the helpful owners who were happy to show us the accommodation as well, that we are planning a return trip... More

Last Sunday we manage to found a table and stay for a coffee(6 people)+ some snacks and toasts. They told us that if we want to stay in shadow we must order proper food-meat or fish....If we want only coffee we have to move under the sun! And they force us to leave!! Most horrible attitude ever! We use to... More

this restuarant is situated right at the left hand side of Marsaxlokk bay and gives views over the bay.We stopped for a glass of wine and a pastizzi which are not easy to get as not all restuarants sell them Very good though and worth looking for.

Last Sunday we happened to be in Marsaxlokk along with hundreds if not thousands of other locals and tourists who normally visit this picturesque fishing village. We went through the flea market that is there on every Sunday and bought some odds and ends. Getting on through the morning we decided to have lunch there and being near the village church... More

We were delighted to find Duncan's and what a warm welcome we received. The place was packed on Sunday midday yet they were very willing to look after us. This is a no frills restaurant yet the warmth of the staff makes up for this. We had two decent really hot cups of tea and cakes all were delicious. A... More

Marsaxlokk is a 'must do' on holiday in Malta, you will find a multitude of restaurants and bars, but for me the best is Duncans (near the bus stop and church). Duncans offer delicious snacks (Maltese and English) plus great coffee at reasonable prices and with swift service. *** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ***

I have just been to Duncan's at Marsaxlokk. We were seated outside and the waiter was immediately by our side. He was very polite and was soon by or side with the drinks. The pizza we ordered was really good, especially Duncan's special. Pizza is very reasonable and it was really tasty. So thumbs up!

You can just wonder when these guys get arest. On Suday market day they start before 7 a.m and work till the last customer. Food is cheap and hearty.
