Good local food

We went here for lunch on our first day and it was nice and local. The food was good and homemade. We had fuzi (homemade Istrian pasta) with beef, gnocchi with chicken and calamari. At 60 kn (£7.50) each you can’t go wrong! Food was...tasty and it was a good lunch. We found the service relaxed and friendly.More

Worst omelette ever

Didn't know you could mess up an omelete so badly. I ordered the cheese omelete since it was the only vegetarian option. It tasted of old lard, as if a hundred wiener schnitzels had already been cooked in it. The fries were not so bad....Husband had veal which was OK. Service was apathetic. If you happen to be in Zminj and if you have any kind of self respect, we recommend Pizzeria Orhideja around the corner or, if you have some more money to spare, Konoba Puli Pineta.More

Great lunch!

Today we visited Žminjka on our way to Pula and had Istarski odrezak, ombolo and raviolli and all the portions were big enough. Prices were extremely fair.

Service was slow/food was average! Tourists are treated like they are not here. Dirty tables! Couldn't pay with card! I think this place is meant for local people!

Good food, pleasant ambience

Home-made pasta in venison sauce is worth trying. Good red wine. Credit cards are not accepted. Seems to be a place of some tradition. Kind local personnel.
