The award winning Muscats Restaurant offers relaxed and informal location for breakfast and dinner for resort guests, locals and visitors to the Swan Valley. Open daily for breakfast and dinner Thursday - Saturday evening with Sunday lunch from 12pm - 3pm. High tea available on Sunday afternoons.

Disappointing customer service

We were six friends who went for dinner at the restaurant. Two of us ordered the veal cheeks with veggies. The veggies were really tasty and enjoyable, but the meat was quite the opposite. It tasted like burnt meat, that was minced and served in a little roll. I told the waiter that we could not eat the meat and all she said was that I should have ordered the lamb. No apology or alternative was offered. I was surprised and disappointed at such customer service as I really expected a different reaction. My other friends thought their meals were acceptable, but quite average.

Mother’s Day High Tea Disappointment!!

Booked High Tea for Mother’s Day. Told there would be Prosecco included when booking but NONE!! Food served but no tea/coffee until food was half eaten😢 Tea was served but no milk. Eventually the coffee came so asked for milk. By then the tea was cold. Later ordered a fresh tea for my 90yr old Mother in Law & also two coffees. Tea came but I believe in the day of total confusion I think the pot of tea was for another table as the Waitress was carrying another pot as well. Coffee never arrived!!!🙄 It appeared that another table may have been given our coffees. We gave up after 20minute wait and left as there was no longer anyone at the coffee machine. We had planned to return in 2weeks time but wouldn’t bother. What a let down the afternoon was after arriving so excited!! 😢

VERY DISAPPOINTING, WON’T VISIT AGAIN

On the surface of the advertising this restaurant ticked all the boxes, however it was a very disappointing night….the bar has an abysmal choice of spirits, their mixers were non existent so they offered lemonade as a mixer for Gin. They could have at least had bottled Fever Tree as an alternative instead of Sprite lemonade. No beers on tap and no upmarket bottled beer makes for sad start to what was meant to be a great night out. So we move on from that and go to our table for dinner. The fillet steak was cooked to perfection, can’t fault that part of the evening. We arrive at dessert….selection wasn’t much so we ordered liqueur coffees only to be told “sorry the person who can make them has left for the night”….I might add it was around 8.15pm. Wow, we were totally shocked. So a poor second choice was made and delivered….only thing, we had barely finished our “dessert” when a wait person came up and said we had to leave and they were closing, it was just 9pm. I have never been asked to leave a restaurant at 9pm on a Friday night. Then came the bill….well I have to say they are not backward with their pricing. Would we recommend this place, no, never. Will we visit this place again, no, never. Did we have a good night….about the only 2 things I can recommend would be the fillet steak and the company of our beautiful friends….other than that, avoid this place.

Over Priced for so little

decor very dated, needs a much needed lift. Service was average, especially when it wasn't busy. we had to put our hands up to get a pre dinner drink, then they stuffed the orders up. I ordered the beef steak which was the size of a business card $45, it came with 3 cherry tomatoes and a small shrimp (nothing on it) vegetables were an extra $10, I ordered the seared brocollini (seared ??? ) it was cold, dry and burnt. I will never eat at this restaurant again, overpriced and average. I can cook better myself

Amazing service, delicious food!

We were really impressed with the high standard of service and food here. The waiter and waitress we had went above and beyond, like offering wine tastings when we didn’t know which one to choose and generally helpful, friendly and seemed really happy to be there! We shared dishes and all of the food was amazing, couldn’t fault it. It was busy but not noisy, relaxed and comfortable. We’d definitely come back.

Disappointed

We have just returned from Breakfast at Muscats. We arrived at 8am, being early we expected the food to be hot, the only thing that was hot was the coffee! Scrambled eggs, bacon mushrooms etc all cold! Decided to go for toast- no butter/ margarine! Asked staff and was told that they had run out! Food was not replaced pancakes and pastries - plates empty. Going out for breakfast with friends was a treat and at $35.00 per head we expected better! Award winning restaurant - I think not! A total waste of money! Never again! We should have gone to Dome!

I regularly eat at Muscat's it's the best restaurant around The Swan Valley, and situated in The Vines Resort. The service is sensational, all the staff are lovely and very attentive, the food is awesome infact the best I've eaten. I would eat here every month without fail. Infact booked in for tonight. Awesome..

Buffet dinner not worth it! Staff lovely though.

Dinner - $55 seating plus drink prices for buffet was not worth it. Not many meal options for vegetarians. In general really. Lacking of fresh food. Food looked like it had been sitting out all evening. We ate it seemed to recoup costs, not out of enjoyment. Short order cook food. Not inspired. Desserts frozen pastries thawed. Thankfully staff were amazing for our dinner service. Dated setting, broken seats. Needs a overhaul that's for sure.

Bad Mother’s Day afternoon

It was the worst Mother’s Day high Tea we have ever been to. The quality of the food was an absolute disgrace not to mention how bad the service was. We waited 2 1/2 hours before we received a cup of tea.!it was highly Unorganised. I call for management to be put on notice as this was highly unacceptable

Worst service ever. After 20 minutes we placed our order no serves. Asking why we have to wait for 2 coffees and cake we were told their uber uber business were more important. So we left never to return.

Mothers Day HELL Tea !

Sliced cold left over sausage rolls ,Sandwiches pre dried before service, Thirsty from no Prosecco for anybody and 2.5 hour wait for splashed cold coffee all part of the deal, Whilst sitting on wobbly old chairs. AWSOME !!!!!

Small Portions, Over priced

Having recently moved to Perth I am starting to venture out, my first stop Muscats at the Vines. Firstly dated decor, could do with a fresh injection of life for a branded Resort. Service - what you would expect now a days, average to say the least. Food - Now this will be a rather large rant..... Portions very small, Ordered Tuna entree, Dry, over cooked, bland very boring really, Homemade Gnocchi - really?? This dish was terrible, gluey, gluggy horrible pasta. Venison Pithivier, this was the better of the three but chewy meat and something that resemble a jelly? Onto the Mains -Beef fillet, ordered M/R but was more M/W, everything else was mediocre. Pork Belly - this is a cheap product but yet a small measly slithery of pork belly, a little pile of pineapple and some sauce hardly worth $38. Then the Duo of market fish, tough over cooked dry. Desserts - Pineapple pannacotta you could play squash with and the cheeseboard for that price was again very small. Even if you asked me to go back I doubt I would, the only thing this place has going is its attached to a resort. I guess good chefs are hard to find these days.
