Amazing music, good set of alcohol drinks. The most happening place in Iceland. A good place to visit after a day long sightseeing. As everything in Iceland, not a cheap place to visit.

Go here. It's a great small live music venue from 9ish to 11ish, then it turns into one of the more popular clubs without the super dressy club atmosphere. But get there before 12 so you don't have to stand in line. We pre-gamed there for a few hours while watching an amazing live band, and then it suddenly blew... More

I just had the most horrible experience in a bar, from all places I have been in the world. It was a Friday night around 2.10am and me and two friends were waiting for two other friends to come out of the bar and out of the blue the security guard pushed me violently. When I asked what was he... More

We stumbled upon this hidden gem of a burger shack and were very pleased! Burgers made to your liking, plenty of chips. Cost 3,600 Krona (£28) for 2 x burgers, chips & drinks. This is the cheapest place we could find to eat that night and we were pleasantly surprised. We could listen to the live band in the bar... More

We were in a large group for a stag do and this place was great, recommend a visit here at around midnight onwards when it starts to get busy! Saturday didn't seem to be as busy!

We completely lucked out here. Walked passed it and entered purely to warm up from the cold outside. There was a local playing live music that was excellent. All the hits on his acoustic guitar... Then as the night progressed, the workers were slowly removing tables and chairs and setting up a que line outside. We left once the singer... More

Went there when two guys were playing guitar and singing... that was awesome! then they started to put away tables and chairs... making place for a nightclub... get ready for youngsters dressed up so much you feel so bad in your turist jeans... close to nidnight you will see that there's the biggest line waiting to come there.

The music is brilliant here but the people are very pretentious (especially the girls). The dancefloor is also far too tiny for the amount of people the let in which is a shame because the music is some of the best in Reykjavik if you enjoy chart music.

My friend and I were staying in an apartment just across the road and we're wondering what all the noise was! We went down just as an amazing guitarist and vocalist was finishing (unfortunately) and thought it would go downhill, we were wrong! It was an amazing night and although we only stayed for a while we had a great... More
