Had dinner here on a cold night, and it was magical. It's off the beaten tourist path, which is a big plus. Restaurant is beautiful, warm, friendly. Food was excellent! Can't wait to go back here again. Plus, they don't serve illegal whale meat, which...More

This was the first time that we have ever eaten here, and boy what a treat. The food was outstanding, and the service was great. The restaurant was very relaxed, but with a great atmosphere. Its is off the main roads, and to be honest...More

Most of our group had the tasting menu and every course was delicious, one of the group had the vegetarian options and they were as mouth watering as the fish and meat options. Given the expense of Iceland food and drink, I do think that...More

If you are staying at Foss Hotel Lind this restaurant is across the road . Suggest you book as it gets busy. Great food. Quite pricey but remember no tipping in Iceland.

Really only two streets over from Laugavegur and the hotel Midgardur. An easy walk, but not visible from the Main Street. Reservations a good idea as the place was busy during the main dinning hours. All six had fish and were all delighted with their...More

Chef Johann Helgi Johannsson and his wife Ragnheidur Helen Edvardsdottir own and manage Resto. Johann has built up a great reputation for quality cooking in other restaurants in Reykjavik so they decided to follow their dreams and open their own restaurant. The atmosphere is friendly and there is much effort put into the food.
