Location and exterior look are pretty much the only great things about the restaurant - it looks very attractive and is right in the central Reykjavik (it is still possible to find a parking spot nearby). Food, excluding a few unusual dishes like smoked whale,...More

The icelandic seafood buffet is the best meal we had during our trip. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The wine and food unsurpassed by the other restaurants we tried. If ever we go back to Reykjavik we will dine here again.

Some reviews say that this restaurant is expensive. Every restaurant in Reykjavik that we ate in was pricey and i dont think this is any different and considering the selections, i thought that it was reasonably priced especially when you can go back for more...More

The seafood buffet has a bit of everything. Some dishes are better than others and the buffet includes whale, octopus, herring and a variety of both hot and cold choices. Service is relatively speedy, but do not expect fine dining. The blackened salmon was quite...More

My wife and I visited tonight for the buffet. We were really looking forward to what we thought would be a great experience eating traditional Icelandic food. We found the selection of food was very limited, much of the dishes were the same but presented...More

One might expect this place to be a tourist trap, with a large gulf between quality and price. I didn't find it so - pleasingly good food and efficient service.

I have some positives but mostly negatives to say about this restaurant. We were one of three couples (strangers to each other)that arrived at the same time at 5:15 on a Friday night only to be briskly turned away because the restaurant doesn't open until...More

We had the buffet here on a Saturday evening. It was quite expensive (6950 ISK) per person but the food was good. At this price, dessert and coffee was included. They had several seafood dishes to choose from, some beef and of course lamb. There...More

No, we did not order off the menu as we wanted to be able to try a selection of the local foods and that's not really an option if you order a meal off the menu.
