Fantastic selection of open sandwiches - something for everyone and very popular with the locals. Great place for lunch.

The restaurant is in a great part of town just off the main walking street. The atmosphere is casual and the wait staff are super friendly. The food in a single word... "Excellent". I am a huge fan of Danish food and this place delivers. We ate here two nights in a row. The first night we tried the Luxury... More

Had three open sandwiches *half portions) to share, smoked trout, smoked lamb and smoked eel. All were delicious. The local beer was excellent. Staff were so lovely and brought extra rye bread. Lovely décor.

Located in downtown Reykjavik, this restaurant is delicious and a nice break from the cod and lamb traditions (that I love). We had 4 half open sandwiches: beef tartar, caviar, shrimp and Brie/bacon. All of them delicious, but the shrimp was amazing. Great place, great service, great food.

We have dropped in several times lately, lunch, afternoon and evening - the open Danish sandwiches are delicious and the service is friendly and professional. You can choose between half and whole sandwiches and put together a plate of two to three half ones, depending on how hungry you are. They also have "today's specials" and warm meals. I highly... We popped in for a coffee and cake early afternoon. Thd feel is almost Paris style bistro. Very friendly staff and food looked excellent. Quite big inside. Good coffee and central.

Great Service. The restaurant was pretty empty when visited around 2pm. It is located just off the main road, in the Downtown AreaPrices were pretty reasonable for Iceland. The food was delicious and they were able to cater tour dietary requirements. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Reykjavik.

Thank Emily C
