We decide to try Café Paris. The food was good. We were seated at a table where we could observe the culinary team prepare the food. They worked quick, efficiently and you can tell really took time to make sure each dish came out perfect!...More

Very disappointing experience! Staff were rude and unwelcoming - all Eastern Europeans with the most miserable faces! We didn't get a hello, please or thank you! Just told to sit down and wait! Ordered Norwegian eggs and a cappuccino, eggs were cold and it's the...More

My wife and stoppad here for a light lunch. We had a goat cheese salad and a glass of wine. The salad, the wine, and the service were excellent.

Nice clean and quite American orientated. Decent coffee though. Nice ambiance and the service was very good. Prices are ok

Cafe Paris has always been popular, since I first visited Reykjavik, and it doesn't seem to have changed much. Good: elegant interior, fast service, typical European cafe menu. Bad: the thickest and hardest sourdough toast ever.

Our first evening in Reykjavik we ended up in Cafe Paris. A chicken burger that was ok, and a weird chicken waffle dish. Not really worth recommending. They sell food. It is not bad, it is not good.

There's no way to prepare you for the sticker shock of eating in Iceland. It's expensive wherever you go. Get used to it. Four of us had breakfast at Cafe Paris after a strong recommendation from my sister-in-law. She was spot on! Food and service...More

Great atmosphere here so it became my mainstay during my week in Rekjyavik - the food is standard bistro but well cooked and presented. I had crispy chicken sandwich, onion soup, crepes suzette, full breakfast, lots of coffees etc and it was all great. The...More

Been here multiple times mainly because of the location and always shrugged the bad service off. Yesterday we had to wait 20 minutes for service despite the place being at well under 50% capacity. Finally we ordered 2 coffees and a piece of cake. The...More

An Icelandic Icon The Heart of Reykjavik City The spacious but intimate Café Paris is a café and a restaurant known for first-class service and bistro-style meals, primarily made using fresh local produce, in the heart of the city centre, Austurvöllur. Austurvöllur is Iceland?s Champ du Mars, where locals relax on warm summer afternoons, overlooked by the Icelandic Parliament, and the Dómkirkjan. Its long history and esteemed reputation has contributed to it being one of the most successful restaurants and cafés in all of Iceland.
