Went for a happy hour drink and a bite to eat. The food was fantastic, service wonderful and happy hour wine was very good. Restaurant wasn't busy but it was a Sunday evening. A definite cut above other fish restaurants around. I had the catch of the day which was a delicious blue ling dish. One of the best fish... More

Decided to take a look at the menu whilst on the Happy Hour quest. A friendly greeting and a nice large (!) beer whilst they prepared us a window table (it was pitch black dark... but). We were delivered some lovely tasty bread with a nicely 'spiced' butter. The menu was brief but clear and well explained - but then... More

Great first night in Iceland. Went for the beer and food tasting. Everything was very nice, our guide Arhar was brilliant, made everyone feel very welcome, we learned a lot about iceland, and the food and beer we had.

I went around 6:15pm on a Wednesday night. I was the only one in the restaurant until a couple arrived about an hour later. I had the "fish of the day" and it was one of the most delicious meals I have literally ever eaten! There were potatoes and fried balls of something with a cheese inside, baked kale and... More

Went there with co-workers last week and we had had pre-order some 5 small course tasting menu, they had recommended that for a group and somehow I though that might be a little more then the burger (but it was almost the same price, the burger costs 3100kr but this was 3200kr). But those courses were to little to fill... More

We (4 people) visited this place twice during our holiday. Good food. Nice athmosphere. First have a drink at the bar (happy hour). Great location in the old harbour. We will come back if we visit Iceland once more.

This restaurant is just along from the main harbour car park and very close to the old city centre. We all had fish and potatoes-no chips available- with salad and the fish was absolutely mouth watering and truly excellent. The staff were also charming and very friendly. Not cheap but good value

Great cod as catch of the day but the other dishes where nothing special, in fact a bit boring. Easy to take after whale watching...

We sampled six Icelandic beers along with food pairings. It was reasonably priced and lasted 2 1/2 hours rather than 2 hours. The staff were friendly and everything was good. There was a larger party of locals in the back room and they were having a good time too. If you have sensitivity to certain food additives, be cautious with... More
