If you need a quick and tasty snack, look no further than here. Open kitchen so you can see the burgers being cooked to order. The Steak burgers are great - I certainly wouldn't describe it as an 'over priced McDonalds' as a previous review does.... We were in on a Friday night. It was mobbed and clearly very popular... Unfortunately like a lot of things in Iceland you pay 15 euro for what is a basics small burger and small coke. We have had other burgers elsewhere in Iceland be it on the outside of the city and they are much better for less money. The place itself is cool but burgers are not great

If you are in Iceland and are fed up with high priced food and need a burger, this is the place. Still not cheap, but you get excellent food at a reasonable price. Good burgers, chicken fries etc. Refills on drinks, free coffee and pastries. Can get busy, but worth finding. Very friendly and helpful staff.

One of the more reasonable options, Bullan burgers is a hip, grimy joint full of memorabilia in a settling unlike any other I am to discover in Reykjavik. It The menu is simple, burgers, fries and malt shakes. Cooked to order, the burgers are delicious and fries portions generous. Served in baskets, there's a clear American influence. Good for a... This atmospheric little diner is very popular. It's a small place and there aren't many tables so some customers were standing as they ate. We were lucky enough to get bar stools by the window with radiators at our feet which was very welcome with the weather being freezing cold. The burger was a little undercooked for my liking but... McDonalds left Iceland with the economic crisis, and made places like this possible. Great burgers, great humor and great atmosphere!

Best burgers in Iceland, period. Fries are not that good but who cares. In no way can this be compared to large fast food chains.

Best burger had in the whole of Iceland. Definitely give this place a try if you've had your fill of cod, lamb, cod, lamb, cod, lamb or the cod or the lamb. Will make you a tasty burger to order, however you'd like it. Friendly, fast, fresh. A great little place, even with the overtly hipster doofus vibe. For those... More

In all honesty, we found it hard to understand all the hype about this place. The burger was satisfactory. You could actually taste the beef but it was on the small side and pretty unmemorable. The fries were good but no better and no different than fries you might get at a chain in North America. In fact, if the... More
