I was looking to take out a burger and fries to eat in my hotel room. I walked in and asked if they did take away and the staff said "I can do that for you". I suppose they normally don't? and was making an exception. Their burgers have a small and large selection. I chose the small and it... More

Our first night in Reykjavik, spent ages looking for a decent place to eat. Eventually came across Restaurant 73 and glad we did. The restaurant is small but cosy, friendly and a little quirky. The food was excellent and the beers even better. We had a great evening and visited again later in the week and had a second great... More

We wandered into this place our first night looking for some local seafood. We had the Salmon and Artic Char and both were exquisite. They came with a salad and potato. The service was great- very friendly. They have a nice selection of beers- we had the ginger and berry one. Very refreshing, but more sweet, like a lambic than... More

Visited in November - walked up and down Laugavegur trying to find somewhere to eat that was reasonable priced and offered something to suit both of us - one who wanted to eat seafood and Icelandic dishes and the other who wanted more plain food - this place offered both. The meal was fantastic, good portion sizes and well cooked... More

This was the best meal we had in Iceland, hands down. While the prices are not the cheapest, the food is well worth it. The restaurant is family owned and the steak was out of this world. There was a great beer selection and the dessert was excellent. The owner of this restaurant also discussed tipping with us, which was... More

We came in for a drink and had a very good time. Relaxed bar with kind personnel and a good Icelandic whiskey. We also enjoyed the Icelandic beer. We recommend this place!

We visited the restaurant last night, the service and food was outstanding and brilliant value for money! From the range of food that we ate from vegetarian to fish and to a gigantic steak we had no complaints! We would 100% visit here again it's a must when visiting the area!

We had not booked and identified this restaurant through this website. My wife had chicken breast and myself the chicken burger. Both were reasonable prices and the food was good but. It remarkable. The staff were friendly and polite. It was fine for a mean at the end of a tiring day but nothing to get overly excited over. We... More

Had a meal 🍴 here with my wife and two friends, we found out about the restaurant from trip advisor which was spot on with its reviews. Probably the most expensive burger 🍔 and chips I have ever eaten, about 21 pounds, unfortunately that's about the going rate in Reykjavik but to be fair it was a very nice burger.... More
