Couldn't fault this at all good size prawns and mussels though shelled very tasty risotto washed down with a pint of viking classic. Not the cheapest but you're paying for the quality

The difficulty in Iceland is to get nice food at not too silly prices, try this place, not as silly as some. The food is classic Italian fair, so nothing unexpected and very good quality. As every where in Iceland the beer is expensive, so not a place to drink a lot. My normal test, would I visit again, in... More

This is a very good Italian place. The wife got a excellent beef tenderloin! They got a little mixed up handing them out(a few folks got steak), but they were good! I had apizzia and it was very good! Nice atmosphere!

We actually started out for Le Bistro but when we got there and requested a table they simply said "no"! As an afterthought they suggested we might come back later to which we said no! So we took a walk and came upon Rossopomodoro and so glad we did. Had to wait a bit for a table but not long,... More

Went there with my wife the other day. The food was fantastic (she had pasta and I had a pizza) and reasonably prized considering Reykjavik prizes and the quality of the food. Service was quick and friendly. The surroundings and atmosphere nice and cosy. Good location on the main shopping street. Highly recommended.

We went in on the off chance, it was extremely busy but only waited a few minutes for a table. I get the impression that they are set up to get people through quickly on busy evenings. We were seated by someone who appeared to be the owner/manager, he was a little brusque but this was not typical the waiting... More

Just posting to show the pictures, mussels and prawns were great, beef was delicious, as was the spinach filled pasta.

We ate here as it was just around the corner from our hotel. The food was great & probably the best food we had on our three night stay. The only issue was that the waitress was quite impatient, pushy & rude. I got the impression she was perhaps a senior waitress. We had only just been given the menu... More

It's a fairly large restaurant by Reykjavik standards. Plenty of space between tables. Nothing exceptional about the pasta, but it was very much acceptable. Service was a team effort and very quick. You will be ok going here for a meal. Prices average.
