Been at this place for Halibut Peppersteak many times. It is truly the best fish dish you can get in Iceland. This place is one to visit.

Went there with a client on a wednesday for a lunch (the restaurant is only open from 11:30-15:00). Had the "catch of the day". For around 2.500 kr. I got a soup as an appetizer, with great sour dough bread (olive oil and butter on the side), I got a very good fish with some root vegetables and a salad.... More

We had a great experience here - can't beat the lunch special! There were so many different components on the plate and everything was flavorful and delicious. If I had to pick what was my favorite item, I'd have to say it was the bread that came with the soup. It had a delicate crunch that tasted almost deep fried... More

The soup was very testy. The fish was delicious! The sauce was complimenting the fish and vegetables. The presentation was gorgeous. We had haddock, cusk and cod. The service was great. Definitely we will be back here.

We were recommended to Gallery Fiskur by our hosts at our hotel (Heidmork). We went for lunch on our arrival in Iceland - we were the only customers on a Tuesday lunchtime, but it didn't matter one jot! The place was lovely, the service was helpful and attentive and the food was FANTASTIC!

Whilst in Iceland on business, I was taken to Gallery Fiskur by a local friend. Excellent seafood. I recommend the halibut with mushrooms. The quality of the fish was excellent. For Iceland, good value.
