We went to this restaurant the night of our arrival in Iceland and liked it so much we came back our last night in Reykjavik. They had a very unique menu. I had the sushi starter for my dinner. Had no trouble getting in on a weeknight. Quite a crowd later in the evening.

Fabulous food so rightly very popular. We weren't able to get a table any evening we were in Reykjavik but thoroughly enjoyed the lunch.

We enjoyed the meal, from beginning to end. We took the "Around Iceland" menu, a great goumert experience. Friendly, professional service too. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

It's a little hard to find as it hidden behind another building. However, the food, service and atmosphere are great. Very interesting decor. Like all restaurants in Iceland it is a bit expensive but relative to other places, it is actually worth it.

We took the "Around Iceland" menu. A feast for the taste buds! Friendly, professional service too. Had a very cozy table with sofa in a corner. Certainly not cheap but the food is very much worth it.

My family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed this meal, from beginning to end. We had reservations, so although the restaurant seemed really busy, we had no trouble getting in exactly when we wanted. Our starters, in particular the minke whale and sushi, were superb. The mains and dessert, especially the frozen dessert prepared table side, were also all delicious. I would... More

I had an amazing meal here! I had the Taste of Iceland menu, and everything was wonderful! It was a lot of food, and well worth the money. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere with dimmed lights and candles on every table. I had researched this restaurant before I went on my trip, and I wasn't disappointed!

A little tricky to find because it's down some stairs under another restaurant. This was recommended to us by two different local people we met in Reykjavik. Absolutely amazing food and excellent service. Very quaint inside and everything was superb. You will need reservations for dinner but we got in for lunch without one.

We had lunch there on July 30 and while the food was good (not great) we couldn't get over the rudeness of our waiter. He provided terrible service, gave little information on the food and definitely seemed to have a disdain for tourists. One example - the bread served came with two different kinds of butter which we were not... More
