Found this place while checking out what was near the hotel. Needing a quick bite for lunch we stopped in. It was late afternoon, so I am ure we were there at an off time. We got speedy service in a clean establishment with great prices. Just what we were looking for

Great cosy cafe, with good food. You can think of Iceland as expensive, but order one of the fixed breakfasts and there's loads for 2 people - excellent value for a Yorkshireman !

Stopped in here for a quick coffee and it's very cute with friendly staff. Right on the harbour as well, so if you want something to warm you up while you walk around, this would be a good choice.

My husband read about Cafe Haiti in his guidebook +being a coffee lover I had to go. The guidebook says that Cafe Haiti has the best coffee in the city....I'd say it is by far the best coffee I've had anywhere in the world! We visted a few times for coffee, I had the chocolate cake a couple of times... More

We were looking for a warm drink by the harbour and decided on Cafe Haiti after reading other TA reviews. We were not disappointed. Other reviews say great things about the coffee AND the hot chocolate, so we decided to compromise and go for the "Swiss Mocha" and it was excellent. Other patrons had the fish stew which looked and... More

Lovely food, service, drinks and amazing hot chocolate all served with a smile in a quirky, beautiful cafe right near the harbor. Mix of locals and tourists. Great.

Description
Cafe Haiti is a small cafe by Reykjavik's Old harbor. We buy our coffee from farmers in Haiti. We roast the coffee in the shop and serve quality coffee as espresso, macciato, cappuccino, latte, Arabic and Turkish coffee as well as tea and hot chocolate. Soups, pies and croissants as well as our fumes breast so if you are coming from the flight in the morning the stop and see oss for breakfast and we also have good lunch. We also have food to go if you are going on the whale watching. We have sometime live music so be in touch and hope you are in town when we have live music.
