I was actually not expecting much. From the outside it looks a little dinky, from the inside the decor seems a bit confused...but that soup and salad was great! Perfect combo to warm the belly on a chilly Icelandic day. We tried to go again and get stuff to go, but they charge THE SAME for one bowl and one... More

I came from the other side of town just to eat at this restaurant. This is my second visit to this restaurant. The lamb is excellent and the soups and salads and bread are especially good. Only one block from the main shopping street worth the walk

A friend and I went here the other night for dinner after having a long day of exploring. I am vegan and so finding something that was going to fill us up and also be affordable, fresh, and vegan friendly was the challenge. They provided an amazing soup and salad bar for a set price (very reasonable for Iceland prices,... More

I'm looking at all these 5 star reviews and thinking have these people been in a coma since birth. I have lived around the world and even the best restaurant I have ever been to may have been 4.5 stars because 5 would mean it is the best experience I hae ever had eating in my life. It would mean... More

Normally I rarely eat soup or salads. I am a meat (steak) person. My wife took me to try this place today and I am absolutely surprised how delicious soup and salads can be. We had the soup and salad buffet with all you can eat, for a very affordable price. The service is great and very friendly! I am... More

The food is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend you try the buffet - they have a delicious assortment of home-made soups as well as a rich, flavored salad buffet. The decor is moroccan and overall a dim lit, romantic date-night spot. The prices are very low for Iceland and well worth every penny.

Iceland is pricey for food - fact. This place is not only pretty affordable but also amazing! Ended up going there twice as it is so vegetarian friendly. Soups incredible - we had mushroom as one of them and Indian lentil. Both soups were delicious and you can have as much as you like. The salad is also really tasty... More

I ate at this beautiful restaurant in the heart of Reykjavik, with a group from Explore I was travelling with as part of a trip to Iceland. The resto is well decorated, the table setup allows for great atmostphere, the food and staff service was excellent.

By far the best soups in town, organic quality ingredients are used in food and people feel that on their well-being, a great variety of tea and coffee, hand-crafted barley, leavenbread with irresistible tomato garlic and hummus, vegan friendly place and only with chickens that roam loose, all debris classified for example plastic, all appetizers without gluten, dairy, white sugar,... They offer a soup and salad bar at a very good price. 4 different soups were offered and we loved all of them. The salad bar had a good variety of vegetables and mixed salads. The bread was also very tasty. The salads and soups were frequently replenished and the serving area was cleaned often. The atmosphere is pleasant and... More
