They are in three different places in the greater Reykjavik area and I went to the one in Hafnarfjörður (approx 10km from downtown Reykjavik). The staff was very friendly and you can without any trouble request some dishes to the "train" if you like something special. They have a great variety of sushi, very tasty indeed.

We came after the kitchen had closed, so what was on the train was all that was available - even so, the sushi was pretty good and the overall experience was fun, low stress and affordable. My 10 yo had a good time even tho he's not much of a sushi person. The service was friendly and hands off. Pay... More

I'm a sucker for kaiten-zushi restaurants, so we had to visit. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The sushi was some of the freshest sushi I have ever eaten!

Great place we heard about and we found it hidden well in the end of a street. As they have room for 50, guests we were there around 19 ish and just ahead of the line waiting for seating after 15 minutes. Please is packed aperently every evening so recommended is to be ahead of the flock. No reservations possible.... More

This place is ok for lunch but you can do better for dinner. When we went we had to wait a bit before we were shown to the waiting room for some more waiting. Food was ok. The we had to go stand in line to pay ... waiting some more. Price wise you can just as well go to... More

Prices here range from 250 ISK to approx 600 ISK for various rolls and other items. As vegetarians, it was a great option for us. We had avocado rolls, veggie rolls (250 ISK for 2-3 rolls), avocado and sweet potato fries (approx 350 ISK), and edamame approx 300 ISK. There was also a dessert of chocolate mousse. Alcohol is available-beer... More

The sushi we had was not bad, having been to other similar restaurants the servings were quite small for the prices of each plate. Not a whole lot being added to the train, just the same stuff circling.

We had one dish and left. Found a much nicer place called Sushi Social and had a wonderful meal there.

Great atmosphere, amazing sushi and good wine. Osushi the train is one of the best restaurants in town. Its not the fanciest - but quality is fantastic and the price is good.

The sushi was very fresh. We waited a long time for more sushi to be added to the train. Their could have been a bit more variety for our likings. But the food was good.

Be sure to enjoy the fun dining experience of a Japanese style restaurant with fresh Icelandic seafood and various meat plates. OSUSHI is located in the heart of Reykjavik, actually right next door to the historical Althingi. Be prepared to be mesmerized by the desirable selection of dishes on the conveyor belt. Be sure you don't miss The Volacano while in Iceland!
That is our most famous and popular sushi plate. We also offer a nice selection of sashimi and sushi rolls, as well as tempting tempura, salads, nigir and desserts.
