Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

So lucky to have come across this spot on a side street. Head right here for breakfast if you arrive on an early flight. The cinnamon buns are amazing!!

Stopped in for a quick breakfast out last day in Iceland. They were quick and friendly. All of the lovely mouth watering aromas will definitely leave a mental bookmark for the trip. We all got rolls which were soft and warm as they should be....Melt in your mouth tastes. We will make sure to revisit on future trips. Thank you #somebodyfeedphil for the recommendation to visit the shop well worth it.More

If you visit Reykjavik without going to Braud & Co for a cinny bun, you are doing yourself a disservice. I got a vanilla bun, and sat outside of the steps of an apartment building. There was no doubt in my mind the bar had...been set, and will likely never be topped. You'll walk right past every Cinnabon that crosses your path for the rest of your life.More

The hype is accurate. Loved everything we tried. Went two days in a row and we were only in Reykjavik for three days! The croissants and cinnamon rolls were our favorites. No place to sit really and parking can be difficult. Staff is nice.

Delicious pastries, went like 4 times, nothing was sub par. Start with the Cinnamon roll they are known for and work your way through all the other choices, can't go wrong.

Ok....not sure this is allowed on here...but the cinnamon buns are like food porn!!!lol....we couldn't get enough of these incredible buns and we had to have them 3 mornings out of the four that we were in Iceland! This bakery was our first stop after...checking our bags at the hotel. The flaky pastry was like a party as we unraveled the layers and enjoyed each and every bite. If I never have another cinnamon bun again on US soil, it probably would be wise as I am now going to be a critic that will always say "not as good as in Iceland".More

Braud & Co. is near the Hallgrimskirkja, the largest church in Iceland and its color exterior makes it hard to miss. Thanks to all the positive reviews Braud & Co. has online, I wasn't surprised to see the long in and outside the bakery. Thankfully,...the line moves fast. The selection is limited but no less delicious to look at. The bread seem to be the most popular items on the menu. I chose a chocolate croissant because I hadn't eaten lunch yet, but I didn't want to pass by without purchasing a baked good. The chocolate croissant was flaky and buttery, with just enough chocolate inside. I've had croissants where there was barely any chocolate inside, but not so in this case. I didn't get a chance to try their other pastries, but I have a feeling they're all good. Stop here to check out the hype and form your own opinion.More

Best cinnamon buns in Reykjavik PLUS they put the recipe on their website. Bonus! All baked goods look wonderful. Only one seat inside ☹️

Despite being busy , service was swift and amicable. I ordered a gorgeous crème brûlée doughnut, bad for the waste but a dream for the taste buds.
