We started with the langoustine soup and it was excellent. My wife had the langoustine baguette which was good. I had the combination langoustine tails and whole langoustine which was heavenly!! No sauce needed. We had a skyr dessert with espresso to complete a perfect meal.

This is a good restaurant in Hofn, but a little too pricey for the value you get. The place is standard, the service is very good, the food is good and the price is a little high. The langoustines are good, as almost every place in Hofn. The char is also good and the potatoes that come with it very... More

Ok, so we're in Hofn, the langoustine capital of Iceland. I had had langoustines at another restaurant on a previous trip and was underwhelmed. My sister in-law said we HAD to go to Humarhofnin so we did. We ordered the 450 g of langoustines (ISK 7300 or about $65 USD) and the arctic char (ISK 4500 or $40 USD). The... More

The only place to go for Langoustine in Iceland! Yes it's expensive, but it is WORTH every penny. I have taken friends here every time I've visited Iceland. PHENOMENAL!

Good enough food with great portions and prices you can't beat in Iceland this was a great stopover for dinner. The employees were also very nice and as has been the case throughout this entire trip they spoke flawless English! Oh, and it even has a drive thru!!

As South Africans, we found everything in Iceland to be extremely expensive, but this meal was definitely worth the cost! The interior is lovely and we enjoyed the langoustine bisque and langoustine baguette very very much. This was probably the best meal we had in Iceland and although we were worried it wouldn't be enough to fill us, we left... More

Had the grand langoustine - lovely meal. Exchange rate caused this to be quite expensive, but the food and service were excellent.

I get really upset when i paid a lot for food yet it is not fantastic but this is one of those restaurant which i think is worth my money. We had a lobster bisque to begin with. It was not the best lobster bisque I had. It had chunks of lobster meat but I thought it was a little... More

I had the 'Selected and cut Langoustine tails' for my meal. It was pretty good but very expensive and I was still quite hungry after eating since I had a busy, full day of touring/working up an appetite. Ended up stopping for a gas station hot dog to fill up after a $80 meal (main course only, no apps or... More

I very much enjoyed the Baguette Langoustine I had for dinner here. It was fresh and not too heavy. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Would recommend to anyone visiting Hofn.
