The food was quite good, we each had the horse burger and found it to be very good. The prices were good for Iceland (everything in Iceland is expensive).

We went on a whim. Glad we did, the food was nice and the service great. We all had beef steaks. But you do have the choice of Horse, Whale, Lamb etc if that takes your fancy. The restaurant has a traditional feel to it with a nice atmosphere. I would happily go again.

Lobster's soup is way too salty till unable to taste lobster. As of the whale meat was too raw and the vegetable serve with whale meat is too oily. Overall it is indeed a disappointment.

We visited today around 5pm in between tours and the restaurant was nearly empty which we took as a bad sign, but considering the time made sense and more people arrived later on. I had beef steak and fries medium-rare and my partner had the burger - both were cooked perfectly and went down very well! Then we both had... More

The food was just absolutely delicious, after dinner we stayed for a few drinks and it was really reasonable price! I have to mention the waitress and rest of staff were so wonderful, cheerful and genuine! Will definitely go there again, no doubt.

On our last night In Reykjavik we ate here. From outside it looks small but opens out in a very nice sized area that is welcoming and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was lovely. Three ate steak, all perfectly cooked as requested, and one salmon (which was a hearty chunk,) Couldn't fault anything. Staff were... More

I loved the food and the draft beer was above average. The service could have been better as this is a fine dining restaurant.

If you want to taste something really typical this is the place to go. We had delicious whale steaks for a reasonable price. Atmosphere is really cosy for romantic dinner.

My family ordered horse steak, whale steak and chef's salad. My goodness were they all so amazing! The price is so much less than what you'd find in the city center (33,000 kr for each steak). I think the whale steak is an acquired taste but the horse steak was softer than beef! I wish there was enough time in... More
