They would need to make some changes for this to work.
The restaurant has a nice look, respecting the vintage building. However, the space is uncomfortably cramped with tables.
The brunch food was well-made and some of the dishes were very tasty. However, they were...not all thought-through. I enjoy re-Interpretations of classic dishes, but you need to know how to do it. It turned out the day's eggs benedict were with octopus, or with mushrooms&cauliflower - those were just odd options, and didn't work.
The food was very pricey too, at eur18 for each brunch dish. That's quite a lot for a burger or pancakes or an egg dish. None of us ordered juice, as it was eur6 (!) a glass.
Service was friendly. However, it was also very slow and disorganised. We waited a long time to get our orders in - the waitress came over only after we asked, after she had taken the orders of another group that arrived way after us. It took a long time to get our drinks, and the last coffee for our party of 5 arrived arrived 10 min after the first one. Worse still, the food also arrived at different intervals. We had all finished our coffees by the time any of the foods arrived, and the first ones had nearly finished their food by the time the last of us got our dishes - which was 1h 15min after we had arrived to the restaurant. That's a very, very long time to sit at a restaurant without any food at all (they could've e.g. offered bread since there was a major delay) - and especially since this was brunch, and none of us had really eaten earlier.
This kind of tardiness does not appear to be uncommon there, as only after we asked after the remaining dishes, the waitress offered a half-hearted apology, and a vague explanation of them having to clean the frying pan since one of us was allergic to fish. That hardly explained why all dishes were late, and anyway - what kind of a restaurant only owns one frying pan?More
