We've eaten here many times and only now bothered to write a review, after dashing in unannounced on a Saturday night on the way to the theatre. Suffice it to say the place did not disappoint: my colleague praised her blood pudding, celeriac, smoked ham hock, and apple broth as a delightful dish, and I had no complaints about the... More

We were invited in this restaurant and we had an excellent dinner! We had fish and it was delicious. I was told that also the steak was really worth. Cakes were very good as well. We recommend it.

Had dinner here last night with friends and it was fabulous! We were visiting from Dublin and the U.S. and found the place from a google search. We were so glad we did! Firstly we turned up an hour ahead of our reservation and they managed to seat us. Our waitress Mia was fabulous - super friendly with great info... More

we really like this restaurant so this was my third time to visit. I went with my kid but they offer high chair and comfortable to stay. Nice cooked white fish was amazing. starter-main-desert = 42e is very clear and nice system. they offer nice beers too!

I've lived in Helsinki and traveled there extensively and can say hands down, this is super value for money and quality of food. The menu is small, only 4 main dishes to select if I recall correctly, but all very unique and fresh local ingredients. The kitchen is top notch and the service too. I actually dropped 20 euros under... More

Finne has a remarkably short menu - it changes frequently though. Have had a meal there four times and every time it has been interesting and worth it. Always order a three courses as the portions tend to be small. The beetroot starter was great, but only enough to feed a squirrel. Offers always include a veggie and seafood option.... More

Three course dinner with some specials from the wall was excellent. Not cheap but worth every euro and more!

Excellent place to taste Finnish cuisine with a reasonable budget, usually quite crowded as is not huge place thus table reservation is highly recommended. Always fresh food and daily recommendations are great

Modern Finnish food with flavors from nature. Uses ingredients that are not commonly used. But are still traditionally Finnish. Main courses of fish and lamb are exceptional. Try the licorice creme brûlée for dessert! Three course menu is a good value for money.

This restaurant is a true gem! The world class chefs have approached traditional Finnish food by applying the most modern and cutting edge science and art of cooking. For a Finn this was a most astonishing experience and I am so excited and happy that now we have a restaurant in helsinki which is able to deliver a culinaristic experience... More
