Read about it online and decided to try it. Located in a quiet by lane of the beautiful old town this restaurant is a hidden gem. Tried the reindeer as that was recommended by the waitress and I wasn't disappointed. Tender juicy reindeer meat with...More

Although looking unspectacular from the outside we followed the great reviews and went here last night. They managed to squeeze us in early but it was in an alcove area with lots of pipes overhead. We both had the reindeer dish and it was so...More

Superb restaurant. Such a quaint restaurant on a quiet little side street. Super cozy atmosphere. My wife and I split three awesome appetizers. Salmon, lobster soup and local favorite reindeer. Super tasty, excellently prepared. For dessert we had another local favorite, cloudberry with ice cream....More

This is a very cosy place in the middle of Stockholm's Old Town. Genuine atmosphere in an old building. Nice and friendly staff and great food. Their home baked bread is delicious! A hidden gem. Skip the many touristy places around and go to Kryp...More

Last time I wrote about the fact they always deliver a consistent service and food and this time was absolutely no surprise. This place is definitely one of the best restaurants in Stockholm if you weigh in the service, food, ambience, pricing and location. The...More

This place is amazing! Service is great, atmosphere wonderful and the food exceptional. Yes you HAVE to try the reindeer, it's out of this world. Had the three course set menu and started with lobster soup - incredible flavour! Followed by...yes you guessed it...reindeer. Dessert...More

Got there by chance and were lucky enough to get a table for two for two hours. We lives everything about the restaurant: the food, deco, atmosphere and service. As for the food: it was flavoursome, delicate yet substantial. I had actually never eaten anything...More

Went here at short notice and had a lovely meal. The wine wasn't up to much and we discovered that we don't like cloudberries at all, but everything else was really good. I had smoked reindeer and cod and was blown away by both courses....More

The three course meal I had here is among the best meals I've ever had. They serve classic Swedish dishes which are presented in a modern and stylish way. The taste of each course was extraordinary and the wine recommendations we got from the waitress...More

We were lucky to get in without a reservation -- on a Wednesday!! -- and were given the last free table. My wife had the 3-course menu at SEK 475, excellent value, I had à la carte. We both chose the reindeer which was fabulous....More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
