We had our 3 year old and 1 year old boys and they were very accommodating. Service was top notch. Filet was cooked perfectly and the Swedish meatballs are the best! If you're looking for a nice place to eat that serves traditional Swedish food, this is your place. Expect $30-$40 per meal and reservations are recommended

If you want to try very traditional Swedish kitchen go there. I assume that the bulk of the menu - as the furniture and perhaps some of the waiters -goes back to the twenties. High quality and atmosphere. One of my absolute favourite places. If you want to get a feel for being Swede: start with bleak roe, beer and... More

We visited Prinsen on the last night of our four day trip to Stockholm. So far this is the highlight. The food, the service, the interior - everything, was the best we have experienced her.e. The langoustine starter, the cod, the meatballs (especially the meatballs) were first class. All staff from the cloakroom attendant to the maitre d' to the... More

We visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. We decided to pre book our table and talked directly to the maître `d as we walked past. As we arrived the house was already full and busy - we looked forward to enjoying it, but were led down in the cellar, by the bar were it was quite empty and... More

We had dinner at the restaurant following a recommendation from the reception of our hotel. The night didn't start good as on arrival we informed a employee that we had a table booked. He turned out to be the 'cloak room' attendant who was sarcastic in his reply. I was a little shocked at this but did not make any... More

Positioned close by Stureplan, this place is a must. It offers all the classic Swedish dishes, services are good & food quality always same. I love the classic Swedish meatballs with piuré (mashed potatoes), pickled cucumbers and lingonberry, so every time a friend is visiting, we stop by here and I order them ☝🏻🤣. You'll find 3 or more of... More

We came across this restaurant while looking for dinner. The service was friendly and we tried the herring, scallops and the salmon & veal meat loaf. Generally good experience

This is a restaurant that have influences from Sweden and France. I would say it's a luxury bistro. Have meatballs, Biff Rydberg or Bouillabaise all will be greate. Book in advance, It's very popular during weekends. Good wines too.

Even though this is not one of the cheapest places in Stockholm it is well worth the money. The staff i relaxed and service minded. The menu is quite classic and I always select to eat on of the courses that have been cooked for a long time to excellent tenderness e.g beef cheek. The vegetarian choice on the main... More
