Steam offers tasty and light, yet filling soups and salads. Tofu soup is my personal favorite! Be sure to go there either around 11 or 13 to get a place to sit. Chairs are just silly but these newer ones are more usable that the earlier ones... I gladly recommend!

A small restaurant that offers dumplings and noodle soup. Quite crowded and the sound level is really high. If you want to talk to your friends or have a meeting, I recommend take away. The food was ok and offered vegan and vegetarian dishes.

I stopped at Steam during a visit to Stockholm to try the noodle soup I'd been recommended, and was not disappointed. It's always nice to find fast food that is vegetarian, healthy, filling, and really enjoyable. I've yet to find anything else like it in my travels, and plan to come back and try the dumplings next time I'm in... More

I have visited Stockholm regularly for the last couple of years and I was deliighted to discover they opened up a branch were you dine at. It's a such cool place to eat lunch alone, highly recommend the dumplings.

This place serves nice dumplings and noddle soaps inspired by japanese and korean kitchen. Arranged like a fast food place but very good food. Clean and fresh. Small and not suitable for sitting for long. A bit pricy but ok for Stockholm. Some of the staff are nice and friendly some other a bit arrogant.

Staying in Mariatorget

Neighbourhood Profile
This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars. Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park or one of the nearby coffee shops, so come to Mariatorget to meet the locals. The northern part of Mariatorget boasts historic buildings, beautiful cobblestone streets, and one of Stockholm’s best observation decks, Monteliusvägen, from where you can see an amazing view of the city hall and Stockholm’s old town.
