This restaurant provided me with my first and final meals of my trip to Stockholm. I had the reindeer steak for my first visit and a moose steak for my second. It is the kind of place that you will see locals visiting. I was...More

I honestly don't understand how the rate can be so high. The place is maybe good for a drink or as whiskey bar but is very bad value for money as a restaurant. The reindeer arrived already cold and overcooked and for almost 40 euros...More

Didn't get a chance to eat there this visit, but the whisky collection and the range of local beers is great. The whisky ranges from costly to very expensive, but that's true across all of Stockholm. The Ardbeg from the cask was very special. The...More

Everything about this place combines into a fantastic experience. The food, furniture, atmosphere, service and waiters are top notch. Very recommendable if you visit the Old Town!

The restaurant has a huge range of drinks from around the world and Swedish breweries. The Ardberg, a Scottish whisky is the star. It is a kind of Swedish bistrot. The service is excellent and very polite and attentive. I didn't eat reindeer, but the...More

Maybe we should have done more research but we relied on Ardbeg's TripAdvisor score. The offshoot of a whiskey distillery, it is tucked away on one of the main shopping alleys of Gamla Stan (old town). The bar, and the whiskey, is decent. The restaurant's...More

We wanted to try authentic Swedish meatballs and herring and were not disappointed. We were both very surprised with the herring appetizer. It was prepared three ways: with cinnamon and cardamom, with arugula and melon, and bloody Mary style. All three were excellent but we...More

The restaurant specialises in micro brewery beer, a fantastic selection of whiskey and beef Rydberg. The atmosphere is nice and warm and the waiters excellent in every way. You should try the Rydberg beef, a true classic in the Swedish cuisine. We had a great...More

+ healthy portions + Friendly and helpful service + Impressive selection of whiskey sorts + Roustique homely ambiance (if you like that) There were many good things to choose from in the menu, so I made it simple and opted for the "Classic" 3-dish menu...More

To be a place best known for a wide range of whisky. They have surprisingly good food. A place that suits both friends, Jobs, and your loved one

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
