The restaurant's idea of small tapas like meals was fun! It gave you the opportunity to try a bunch of different foods. All of the ones I had were delicious. The staff was really nice too. Would definitely come back!

Got a tip from a friend about this place and im glad we went here! I just love there atmosphere! Autentic and exclusive feeling. + The many vegetarian dishes + friendly staff + nice and simple interior, once again less is more - the cold aubergine dish was a bit boring. Over all well worth a visit for some really... More

The staff were very friendly and really made effort to take our allergies into consideration. We had the Entrecote yakiniku, agedashi tofu, sushi and tuna/salmon with avocado and wasabi. The meat came in a hot pan and was a little chewy but overall a great experience.

Love this place, simple and fresh. Always a safe card for a take away on Fridays. Friendly staff, friendly prices - I wish I had this kind of restaurant in my neighbourhood!

It´s a shame it isn´t bigger but on the other hand it feels wonderfully intimate and cosy so perhaps not... Attentive service and the best Japanese food in Stockholm. Small dishes and sometimes (or often) you wish they were bigger. Like the salmon and avocado salad which is a mere mouthful but what a treat it is! The Yakiniku comes... More

I have been to Blue Light Yokohama several times and have never been disappointed. The food, which is izakaya style dishes, are cooked to perfection and the tastes are very authentic. The very Japanese ambiance of the place, with the Japanese staff calling out orders and such, really contributes to the experience. The last time I was there I had... More

We had booked a table on a busy Friday night. We only got 1 1/2h to eat - way too little time! We felt stressed and had to skip dessert. The service this time was uninterested, but nice. The food was very uneven; superb pork but, ok sushi but the rice was not good! We complained but nothing happened.

The food was good. I'd said was an interesting experience. We shared 3 dishes and it was enough. Is a little expensive but they do cook the food instantly.

I have heard a lot of good about this restaurant so I wanted to try it. Me and my friend came here without booking a table. There were no place so we had to wait for 2 hours before we could get a table. When we checked out prices we were amazed how expensive food is here! When we got... More

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighbourhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
