Lovely outside dining, watching the passersby. Thought it would be too touristy in Old Town but the food was excellent. We had a large and delicious club sandwich and a saffron seafood stew which was full of fish, mussels and prawns. Still telling people about...More

Our first night in Stockholm and we wanted to sit outside in downtown. We picked the BEST spot! Excellent service by one of the owners and an incredible meal. I had the steak my wife the salmon. Both were incredible! A definite restaurant of choice!

Stumbled across this venue whilst exploring the 'Old Town'. With tables both outside and in, it seemed a good choice given the evening chill that was descending. Getting a table wasn't a problem. The menu isn't large, however don't be fooled as the secret really...More

Our last night in Sweden we were bound and determined to have Swedish meatballs. We found this place within walking distance from our hotel. The food was delicious! The servers were friendly and so accommodating. Highly recommend this place.

I had the Swedish meat balls and it was fantastic. Soooo much better than IKEA. The mashed potatoes were great and the berry compott nice but I did not like the salad as it was simply to be pleasing to the eye...Much to the dismay...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)

Borgmästar'n is both a Bistro and Bar. The design is a fusion of antique and modern, predominately in reds, golds and browns. So be prepared to meet antique roccoco chandeliers and 19th century candelabras united with walls hung with Hollywood stars proving that these different epochs can coexist in harmony. The menu offers food, drink, ambience and music to suit all tastes and occasions.
