We visited on Saturday 20 October on recommendation from hotel concierge. The restaurant was very busy but had a nice atmosphere. They warned us that service may be slow from the kitchen but it took 30 minutes to take our order and then another 35...More

The food is excellent and the service is professional, however a friendly smile would add to the dining experience. We had the Classic Toast Skagen followed by their classic Filet of Veal a´la Anna Lindberg and the Passionfruit cheesecake with raspberry glazea . Just yummy!...More

The food and service here was excellent. As we were staying in the Old Town, it was within 5 minutes walking distance. We even tried the herring (herring 4 ways), not really expecting to enjoy it but it was delicious. It is not cheap but...More

This is a very traditional restaurant. We visited it the first time 1971 (we changed rings) and it is looking more and less the same. It is as you can tell from the name situated in some old mostly cellars in the old city of...More

The best local food in Stockholm. Established in 1969 this fine dining restaurant featured local delicacies, Swedish Moose Carpaccio, Reindeer Steak and fresh local vegetables. It’s location has been serving fare and drinks since 1700’s. Fantastic service, nice wine made this culinary experience one of...More

We first visited Fem Sma Hus (five small houses) around four years ago so it was good to be back. The service is exemplary and the menu varied - though traditional Swedish choices are there. The space is made up of small interconnected rooms which...More

Our hosts reserved this restaurant for our workshop dinner so that the participants would get a proper introduction to Swedish food. The restaurant did not disappoint. The reindeer filet was quite good as was the chocolate dessert. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant.

Fem Sma Hus ("five small houses") is a series of rooms below adjacent houses in the "Old Town") section of the city. We dined in the lowest level, the cellar, with arched ceilings and romantic lighting. The food and service was terrific. I had escargot...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)

Restaurant is large enough, question is whether they do these types of functions and whether they accept kids. Or whether they have a kids' menu. Also, be prepared: it's an expensive restaurant.

Five Small Houses you will find in the heart of Old Town, just off St. George and the Dragon. You are welcomed into a superb restaurant, which is made up of nine beautiful arches. These extend over five house, hence the name of the restaurant. There is also a modern conference room and lounges that are often used as function rooms On the menu you can always find dishes like herring, cured salmon, fillet of reindeer and a cloudberry dessert. Our parade course fillet´t of veal Anna Lindberg, it is served with morel sauce and potato gratin. It is also possible to organize wine tastings as related to conferences or as completely separate events.
