I had the Steak with fries. It was cooked to perfection and I will for sure come back for more steak.

Went to Matboden on a Wednesday early evening, family of 4 (two kids pre-teen). No issues getting a table without reservations but the restaurant quickly filled up behind us. Service was pleasant and very friendly. The Swedish meatballs were authentic and excellent. The wienerschnitzel was...More
We visited it with 2 kids and took lamb, cot and meatballs for kids. The staff is very friendly, dishes tasted pretty well. Lamb was too salty to my taste, though. Overall impression is definitely positive.
Went with friends on a Sauturday evening. Good food and service, so quite satisfied. Really nice relaxed place, nothing fancy but a place we will go back to.

Matboden is a great restaurant that I can highly recomend. Very tasty food with varius options, small plates as well as steak, and everything tasted great. Cosy interior design and excellent service! Will visit again when in Stockholm.
