In this restaurant I took the barbeque ribs with a cole slaw. The ribs were excellent and prepared with the sauce which is special for this restaurant. The cole slaw was very tasty as well. With a nice lager the dinner was perfect.

I found this little restaurant for a good meal during my business trip to Stockholm and since I was alone I found this cosy place perfect for a relaxed dinner. Food was tasty and well cooked, enjoyed it very much. Service also very good. Would definitely visit again.

Very popular, very crowded, but it is worth waiting for. The Margarita is absolutely fantastic! Our big, hungry husbands are quiet after a really big steak with all the trimmings. Good, not to strong fajitas for the ladies. And yes, save a little space for dessert!

A welcoming atmosphere with very friendly staff. I've visited the restaurant at least 10 times and are always satisfied when I leave. My recommendations are beef bontana and the Ugly American. Must visit if you're in Stockholm!!

This is where I go for a decent steak when in Stockholm. A New York strip sirloin or a Rib Eye steak done in the same way you'll get it in the US of A. Maybe even better. I'll often drop in for a burger att Texas Longhorn, "The Ugly American burger". The best burger found in Sweden nowadays. Plenty... More

Classical 'meat bar'! Nothing for people with claustrophobia, when the restaurant is very small and cramped (many tables and, in some nights, a very small stage scen (!) in a even smaller space)! Serves typical meat dishes with generous accessories; no surprises but always good! Expect no 'white tablecloths' - here you have to revel in the flesh in the... More

There is only one thing wrong with this resturant, its not big enough. The ribs are fantastic along with all the other food they serve. But its small and a little cramped and smokie at times. Staff are friendly and heplful and the service is excellent.

Staying in Slussen

Neighbourhood Profile
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.
