Overall just good. I had read a number of reviews in advance of reserving a table, most of which were glowing so my expectations were high. I started with half a dozen oysters which were lovely except whoever shucked them could have done a better job of detaching the oyster from the shell (that part was left to me -... More

Central located offering all kinds of fresh fish and seafood. Truly enjoyed the perfectly cooked codfish in nut butter shrimp and of course dill! Very impressive was the know how of the red haired lady who was extremely attentive and knowledgeable about culinary offers in Stockholm. Special thanks to her for advising some great dinner recommendations.

Took us a while to find as it's currently located in the temporary Saluhall (opposite the actual Saluhall) which was the only downside. Everything else was wonderful. We asked for recommendations from the menu and our waitress made perfect suggestions both for food and wine. We shared the shellfish starter which was deliciously fresh, and for mains we tried a... The food was simply lovely in a nice relaxed atmosphere. The Gravalax and Herring starters were so tasty. We had lemon sole as the main course which was beautifully cooked and well presented. We had a nice bottle of red wine which we thought was good value. All in all a great experience.

Good spot for lunch break. Respectful restaurant with good typical Swedish dishes, though modern and diverse. Toast skagen is as it should be- just perfect. Good salmon tartar. Be ready to wait to get a table or to share it with somebody else:)there is always line at the entrance. Better to book

This place is fantastic. Whatever you order will be exquisite, fresh perfect seafood, not fussy but still immaculate. The taste lingers and lingers. The staff is kind, knowledgable and helpful. The setting within the Saluhall contributes to the experience.

Nestled in the corner of Stockholm's Östermalms Saluhall, Lisa Elmqvist is a seafood lover's paradise. Their standard menu includes a wide array of typically Swedish seafood dishes, relying on fresh ingredients and simple, clean flavors. Daily specials are all worth exploring. The bouillabaisse, which is admittedly French, is not to be missed. After your meal, go explore the Saluhall for... More

Fantastic service and delicious food! The price was worth it. The "chef" of this restaurant could certainly cook fish. The fish course was just delicious! We will certainly go back to this place. The place is accessible by bus and by metro. If you live within the Östermalm area, you can also walk.

I had two dishes from their special menu expecting to order a third. Large Avokado Alexandra smoked salmon and shrimps in a dressing served in the avokado. Tatar of salmon with anchovy. Both dishes was exceptionally. The restaurant is located in the intermediate Saluhall until the old has been renovated.

From market trader to purveyor to His Majesty the King. It all began in the early 1920s. Fisherman's daughter Lisa Elmqvist traded her wares at a street market by the waterfront, and customers quickly flocked to her stall. Her fish, shellfish and cookery skills were of such a high standard that she swiftly moved up to Ostermalms Saluhall - the perfect place to allow her ability to shine through. Today, 90 years later, the fourth generation of the Elmqvist family continues her work assiduously from the same stall, gaining more and more experience and ambitions. The restaurant has recommendations in Guide Michelin for the last 10 years in a row. During the renovation of the old market hall from 1888 you will find us at the temporary market hall at Ostermalstorg. We will move back summer 2018.
