Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Not so many seats indoors, classic Swedish patisserie interior. Good selection also sandwiches and salads if you are not looking for sweets.

Ok, the bun was good, but 82kr for a small cappuccino and a Vaniljbulle starts to feel like a rip off, even for an expensive city like Stockholm.

We had a couple of breakfasts there and it was delicious. Great pastries with cinnamon, cardamom and other typical stuff.

One of Stockholms best bakeries and cafes with kept traditions, class and style. It is small but the pastries, cakes, buns etc have never failed or lost quality. Sure, it gets crowded, but that's due to the high demand and from locals popping in for...their daily coffee and biscuit. I have been going there for over 30 years and they have never changed too much or strayed from their core concept. Experience it as much for the vibe of old school Östermalm as for some great goodies.More

This is a very nice all classic coffee place in Stockholm that looks like these places looked before the coffee chains started to expand everywhere. Well worth a visit. Especially during "semle" season that starts in januari. Then it's fantastic.

Little Bakery but amazing tasted. Östermalm makes for an interesting contradiction. Visit the little bakery and eat the best Stockholm Semlor. Great coffee and sempa in there

With Chef Mattias Ljungberg garnering all sorts of notoriety for Mr. Cake one might think Tössebageriet Konditori may have suffered, but based on back-to-back visits it seems as though both spaces have maintained high standards, the former obviously more novel while “Tösse” focuses on traditional...Fika served in a classically decorated room. Originally founded in 1920 by Helga Södermark, another Konditori like Vete–Katten built by a female that has grown into an institution with time, Tössebageriet resides at Karlavägen 77 where it has served locals for nearly one hundred years, the menu rare to change save for seasonal items such as the supposed best-in-Stockholm Semla served during the holidays. Open weekdays at 7am and two hours later Saturday or Sunday, seating areas inside and out rarely with an open space during early hours and around lunch, it was shortly after entry that a two-top against the far wall became free, six items plated by a young lady at costs lower than Mr. Cake joined by freely-refillable Coffee and tasting started off by a Cardamom Bun indistinguishable from the one Ljungberg offers at his newer Bakery. Further showing evidence of connections to Mr. Cake with a Doughnut served upright, the name Manadens Bulle used to describe Dough centered by Strawberry Jam, it was only in Tössebageriet’s Katalan that quality dropped off, the base too dense and dry beneath only a bit of Raspberries and Frosting. Returning to form with a traditional Tosca, Sugar- shellacked Almonds sliced thin atop buttery Cake, it was in a Budapest Cake packed with Raspberries that Tössebageriet shined brightest, each bite of airy Cream and Meringue slightly different from the one prior while a round Chokladboll was equally heterogenous but densely packed in Oats and Coconut Flakes.More

Heard about this place through Travel Channel. Came on a beautiful afternoon, opted to order our desserts and sit outside and enjoy the weather. The pastries were absolutely spectacular! Would recommend you try the traditional Swedish Cinnamon Rolls.

You can find the classic Swedish cakes and patisserie here but the atmosphere is very staid and the service wooden and unfriendly. There are better choices within a few paces.

Delicious and unusual! The semla wraps are full of cardamom which goes perfectly with the almond paste and rich cream. I didn't think I could eat a whole one so shared with my boyfriend but then went back the next day by myself!
