Mat & Destillat is currently probably the best restaurant in Lund. The food is excellent and the service is just perfect. The menu may be perceived as somewhat short, but the dishes they serve are just fantastic. The "Gold-medal bartender" can provide you with anything you may want from a top-class cocktail bar before dinner and also a fantastic "after... More

Excellent cuisine in a setting that seems easy and nonpresuptious. They use the best local ingredients and have a simple but interesting menue that has never failed me. They also have an excellent wine cellar and their bartenders sure know their stuff. I have visited them alone with friends and with significant others.

Was here recently for dinner. This restaurant is fine dining...pricing, plating technique, and portion size reflect this. The two dishes I tried were executed very very well. I had the rabbit terrine, which was served with quail eggs, brussels sprouts (these were either barely shocked or not cooked), and pickled fried onions. This dish was a smashing success... great flavors,... More

The thing that in my opinion makes this restaurant a little different from the general run of lunch places is that they offer interesting food combinations and experiences. You can have a fairly light lunch or a soup, or a full meal if you are hungry. It is all very tasty. The restaurant is in the center of town, which... More

Been here three times and was not disappointed. The menu is limited and offers really tasty dishes, rather seasonal and with a twist depending on the chef's inspiration. Wines by the glass are great and they have awesome cocktails if you fancy that. On the down side, there are not many options if you are vegan. Otherwise, they have a... More

Arrived at 11.28 for my 11.30 lunch. I'm Dutch, so arrive on time (and meeting a Swede, so early lunch). The door was locked and the waiters ignored me. Not missed me, but actually, actively ignored me. Muppets. The chef, who could presumably not hear me at the door, made up for this awkward behavior by cooking a fantastic duck... More

Went for a late lunch so the restaurant was not very busy when I arrived but still the first thing I saw were quite a bit of uncleaned tables, and so they were when I left after my lunch as well. My food were well prepared, even if my duck were on the border to be overcooked, and tasted nice... More

Had a business dinner here, the food was preordered by the hosts, but no complaints. For starter we had Salsify with salted pike perch, black radish and squid dressing. That's not all that had gone into the portion, interesting combination, and suitably light as a starter. The main course was Venison with Jerusalem artichoke, sunflower seed, ginger and truffle. My... More

Had reserved a table well in advance as we wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary on a Saturday. The service was good with friendly yet professional staff. Dishes were adapted to seasonal and local specialities and tasty as well as beautifully served. Not seamingly too complicated, but with a modern twist and with understandably ingredients and dishes. I have nothing... More
