The food is excellent in cafe peterborg, the staff is very friendly. The environment in the restaurant is great as well :)

Go no further if you are looking for the best Danish open sandwiches on earth. Plenty of good "stuff" on top of the thin slice of bread. Good Danish atmosphere.
Lovely ambiance, friendly service, and good cuisine. We did the Lunch Plate (kind of like a prix fixe menu that's for the whole table) and it was way too much food. Next time we would order a la carte.
We got there by accident, and were absolutely struck with the interior (semi-basement room), everything is old and dark. Despite this, I found an outlet in the hall for charging the phone. We ate delicious food and relatively not expensive.

Very old place serving very traditional Danish smorrebrod - A must when you are in Copenhagen - Perfect place for beer and snaps.
If you want the traditional open faced Danish sandwiches, this is authentic. The service is superb and the charm and ambience is great.

Really charming old restaurant with awesome frikadelller (meatballs). It's worth the few blocks you'll walk away from the water - better food at a more reasonable price.
