We enjoyed our dinner here but were a bit surprised to be served tinned sardines for a starter with just a bit of lemon zest and greenery. Probably the most expensive tinned sardines I have ever eaten!

The restaurant Salt is slightly pricey but the Michelin rated food is excellent. I took the chefs menu and my advice for anyone who likes their food, is to get all the plates all at the same time as every item comes on its own dish. Though each small plate tasted amazing, it felt like I was more a master... More

Went here because we had just arrived in Copenhagen and staying at the Admiral Hotel it was an easy option. It was relatively expensive - 1200DKK (£140) for 2 courses x 2 people + wine for 1 - but that’s typical of Copenhagen and the quality of food and service was excellent. We had the tasting menu, which was all... More

My wife and I are expats living in Denmark, and being that eating out in Denmark is very expensive, this is probably our favorite restaurant in Copenhagen. We have dined here 4 or 5 times, and the menu is always fresh, innovative and tasty. If dining during spring, order anything they have with the lumpfish roe, it is really fresh... More

The food was ok. I had the lamb which was good but the artichokes were over cooked and salty. The brill was overcooked. The fried mango was too sweet

Lovely food and really accommodating staff with perfect English. Recommend for couples and friends! Generous portions and really fresh ingredients. Waitress recommended a lovely wine which matched the food perfectly and wasn't too expensive. Would definitely go back to Copenhagen and eat there!

As this was our in house hotel restaurant and it had such good trip advisor results we decided to splash out Our original table was booked with manager for 9 pm but we moved it forward half an hour at lunch time ( relevant later) The service was outstanding and our waiter explained each dish. Generally here you choose between... More

SALT is inside the beautiful Admiral Hotel and has a wonderful ambiance. We had the set menu for dinner - 4 courses and matching wine. The service was impeccable.

Located in the Admiral Hotel, Salt Restaurante is a very warm and quiet restaurante with a really kind staff that helps you to take the right decision. Good food with good wine and the price is quite reasonable. As the rest of the building, wood, bricks and history help to create a nice atmosphere.

Description
SALT bar & restaurant is a modern version of the splendid Parisian brasserie. A fascinating maritime expression has become characteristic for SALT's decor.

The food at SALT is full of innovative and challenging flavors. It is modern Danish and created from a strong traditional foundation, where modern techniques are refining the confidence of habit.

Classic, recognizable taste combinations combined with the temptations of contemporary interpretations represent what we define as modern classics.
