We know that restaurants in Tivoli are expensive but this dinner was a disappointment from beginning to start. We were seated in the second part of the restaurant that was not as cosy but mostly, very cold. We considered putting our coats back on because it was freezing. They gave us menus with dried food on it (rice stuck to... More

Surprisingly good food and service for a restaurant inside an amusement park. Fairly large menu with something for everyone.

Not recommended. Overpriced, bad food quality. Would not recommend to anyone. Some of the staff very unpolite.

Good affordable japanees food with a variarity from sushi to a buffet or a la carte. With great views onto some of the attractions. The best in the evening since everything will be lighted.

I had about 100 euros to splurge on food and chose this place based on some local recommendations. The sushi, kelp salad, duck, and beer was amazing. If you want a tasty meal that makes you feel good and healthy...I highly recommend it (and I'm a stocky midwestern Amercian raised on the best steak and potatoes you can imagine). I've... More

Buffet of Chinese food, or, with a supplement, Japanese sushi as well. The sushi was excellent- very fresh, lovely flavours, and as much as you wanted! Lovely views in the evening too of the lights in the Tivoli gardens. Would definitely recommend this place if you want to dine in the gardens.

We ate here during a visit to Tivoli and were pleasantly surprised on the quality of the meal. As keeping wit the whole amusement park, it was not cheap but at least the quality was good. I had the chef’s choice sushi which had a large variety of sushi’s and sashimi on the plate. The different tastes were excellent and... More

Whilst visiting the gorgeous Xmas arrangement at Tivoli gardens, I was in mood for some Chinese food and thankfully we noticed the gorgeous Japanese house with all it's lights as if out of some mystical Oriental story. We joined a small queue and learned that since we did not pre-book, we cannot take their buffet offer but only be seated... More

This is a buffet type oriental restaurant in Tivoli gardens, though you can order from a menu as well. We came there around 19:45, the restaurant looked lovely at that time, lots of coloured lights outside and inside; the waiter was friendly and helpful. The buffet is partly hot foods and partly sushi. The hot food wasn't great, lots of... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner Vesterbro
This neighbourhood is home to Tivoli Gardens, a world famous amusement park and beautiful garden always worth a visit. Just west of Tivoli, you’ll find Copenhagen Central Station, from where you can reach just about every part of Denmark within 5 or 6 hours, or you can reach Copenhagen Airport in less than 15 minutes. Next to the Central Station, you’re in the middle of “old” Vesterbro, where several cultures and hundreds of languages are spoken in an area not more than one square mile. This neighbourhood is considered one of the most trendy places to live in and to visit in Copenhagen. For a real treat, visit Kødbyen ("meat town"), home to several restaurants, cafés and nightclubs, all within a short walk of each other.
