This is Indian food at its European best: rich, spicy, delicious, with generous portions and a no-nonsense menu where you'll find all your favourites: scrumptious biryani, succulent chicken, and fantastic pickles and chutneys to go with it. It was a deeply satisfying experience for a true curry lover.

Best affordable Indian restaurant in Copenhagen. The food definitely gives a taste of original Bombay cuisine. We walked in lured by the spicy smell coming from inside and we were not disappointed. Make sure you try the paratha with tandoori lamb! And it is always best to tell the waiter how spicy you want your food. But even if you... More

Almost as genuine Indian food you can get in Scandinavia. Central but not that crowded, highly recommended.

If you expect Indian spicy food then this is not the place. No spices are used in the food and hence the food does not qualify to be called as Indian food. If you want non spicy, tasteless food then this is the ideal place but don't call the food as Indian.

Very, very neat and tasty dishes. The servings are plentiful - actually had to doggybag nan & rice - and they, the dishes, are worth the wait (it takes a little time to get things from the kitchen to the table - but that on the other hand is the only smallish hickup about this place). Recommended!!!

We stumbled on this restaurant on our first night in Copenhagen. Located just a block off the main pedestrian thoroughfare. Night was cold; food was warm and delicious. Menu had many options. While service was a little slow, the food was easily worth the wait.

I am giving this place five stars to increase its count, even though it probably deserves 3.5 (the existing ratings are too low). I have been going here for years and the food is consistently good, though the service is questionable. I guess I recommend take-out. I do not see why the stars are so low (maybe the Danes rate... We had diner at this restaurant when staying in Copenhagen for long weekend. Curry dish was simple and tasty but pricy. Poor service, the personnel did not ask a single time if the meal was OK or if we would like another drink.

I really enjoyed my meal here - the only trouble was, I was with a group of 15 who didn't realize that the only way to enjoy a place like this is to share...oh well...so I just had the Chicken Korma and it was one of the best I've ever had... So much food! With 15 people ordering 15 dishes,... More

The food was OK. But we waited way too long for the food, even though the restaurant was not packed with people. I don't think we will return.
