Great place for a family to eat or for a large group of friends to meet up and dine. Service is friendly and the staff can't do enough for you. We have eaten there several times over the years and I can say with confidence that they do the best pork chop on the island and trust me I have... More

We came back yesterday after our two week hotel at agryis khakis apartments in Poros. Our nearest tavern is Petros Taverna, and we are proud that we can call Petros a dear friend, so it was very sad to learn of his passing away in April this year. It was very sad to see both Sophia and Maria so sad... More

We have been holidaying in Poros for over 20 years and know the island well. Petros Taverna is truly is one of the best restaurants on the island. The absolutely best home cooked dishes (by Costas the head chef) and a fantastic grill. This year has been the most difficult year with the very sad loss of Petros. However his... More

Instead of being given a menu on arrival, we were invited to come inside and have a look at the available dishes. This is the traditional way of doing things in Greek tavernas. There was a great choice including simple but delicious food that you might not try if you just saw it on a menu such as 'arakas' which... More

If you come to Poros don't miss this place! The best traditional greek cooking and authentical dishes on the island. Nice location, excellent service and fair prices.

We visit Poros every year and always spend a day walking from Askeli to Neorio Beach (the long way around, via Posiedon!) to enjoy a long late lunch at this beautiful taverna. We were so sad to learn Petros is no longer with us and missed his warm welcome and chatting with him. As the previous review said, Sophia and... More

We were all saddened to hear that Petros was no longer with us, but his legacy lives on. Sophia and daughter Maria are running this fabulous taverna behind my favourite beach at the end of Megalo Neorio on Poros. Chef Costa is a master of authentic Greek taverna cuisine. All the dishes you would expect from a traditional Greek menu... More

Pettis is family run and they serve very good, traditional, fresh dishes and have excellent grilled chicken and meats. It is peaceful and pleasant away from the city center. Just a wonderful taverna to share a meal and enjoy authentic colours of Greece. Enjoy!!
