About
The fish tavern "Prima Sera" is located in Punda, the most beautiful area of the beach, which has kept as much as possible its traditional elements, whether they are houses, fishing boats or sailboats. The tavern is a combination of classic and modern with the nostalgia of the traditional cuisine and the personal "touch" of the owner. It is one of the oldest and best taverns of the island, which all the famous people go to eat and also simple visitors. Try the "delicious carpacio swordfish", grilled octopus, grilled squid and continue with the unique lobster with spaghetti 'PrimaSerra". And of course the enjoyment of such food would only accompany a wine equal in taste and quality. Our cellar

This lovely fish restaurant is in Punda, a part of Poros that has come alive in recent years. It has many Greek fans, but tends to be overlooked by foreign visitors. We went on a Friday evening in September and enjoyed excellent taramasalata, saganaki with...lemon jam, swordfish steak and beautifully cooked red snapper. We settled for the house white, but the wine list is extensive and includes a tempting choice of Greek as well as international wines. Whilst the focus is on fish and seafood, the menu also caters for carnivores and vegetarians. Service was excellent: friendly but very professional. Fish is not cheap in Poros, so this is not a cheap night out, but Primasera is well worth a visit at least once on your holiday. It is also less frenetic than some of the other tavernas in town, which means a much calmer and more relaxing dining experience for its customers.More

As soon as we arrived at Primasera we were greeted by the very friendly owner and his staff…. I had the Greek Cheese with the lemon marmalade, my husband had the Calamari..both dishes were delicious. We also got to try a little of the special...dish which was a feta, spinach and filo pastry dish.. absolutely delicious! Our main meals of the delicious pork steak and unbelievably fabulous shrimp risotto were winners! When you visit Poros you must visit Primasera for an outstanding meal, a beautiful location, excellent service….. we will be back again very soon!More

Really fresh excellent raw material wonderful atmosphere many menu options TOS summarises a superb dining experience Strongly recommended for good quality food on Poos especially for seafood We had oysters raw an excellent vongole spaghetti a superb really fresh salad with xinomyzithra a local white...cheese and zucchini chips that were so thin and finely fried a real delicacy. On the less perfect side I would add the sashimi not is course because of the fish which was really fresh but the recipe is a bit flat and may needa bit of ginger to liven it up. In all this is a worth visiting restaurant for seafood and pasta dishes and of course Tasos the owner has the ability of making everyone welcome and uniqueMore

We were looking for quality food away from the touristic crowd (being half greek I know how authtentic greek food tastes like and I am very demanding). We had a lovely dinner at a quiet side of the waterfront, with delicious fava, very tasty grilled...octopus, both according to the greek traditional recipes. My husband chose smoked mackerel with lentils which also tasted delicious. The service was friendly and attentive and pricing absolutely ok for the quality of the food. We will definetly chose Primasera again!More

There are many restaurants on the island but for fresh fish done expertly, you will be hard pressed to find a better one. The menu is extensive and also covers non fish dishes. Also to perfection. If you really want a treat, book in advance...for Branzino cooked in salt crust. This is sea bass or other large white fish subject to what is freshly available. There is a secret going around the island that the chef also does a wicked ramen but that is not on the menu, so don't quote me on this.More

Upon arriving at Primasera, one is greeted by white topped tables of varying sizes able to accommodate whatever size party you may have. with a most amazing view of nearby Galata and all the sailing and fishing boats tied up just feet from the restaurant,...one can imagine the fisherman selling his catch to the restaurant in preparation of customer selection. our order consisted of the VERY best patates tyganites, "french fries but not really" tzatziki, Octopus , Gabro (marinated sardines.....aghhhhhhh to die for) horta (greens greek style) a traditional salad, feta me meli ( Feta covered in fyllo and then honey) which is truly AMAZING .. a simple beer as i did not feel like wine.. and the creme de la creme..... a sea bream cooked and presented to perfection!!! served with a oil/lemon boat accompanying ( because EVERYTHING tastes bettter with olive oil and lemon..) and ladle to pour... pricing is great as i believe it was around 80 euro and really well worth every bit!!!! when you are in Poros, Primasera is a must! and located at the end of the paralia... it is a most pleasant walk to and esp from...More
