Visited based on positive forum comments and made a new friend whilst eating wonderful food. The Stifado and Imam bialdi were excellent as was the Moussaka. The whole experience reminded us of our first Greek holidays and the reason we keep coming back. This Taverna is away from the seafront but if you love authentic Greek food and warm genuine... More

Sorry we did not find this restaurant earlier - best food so far by far. Partner had mussels with lime and garlic to start (at least 25 of them! Overflowing bowl) and I had grilled mixed med veg. Then he had lamb chops (6!) and I had the best stifado of my life, and I've had loads all round Greece-... More

We went to Tzima on recommendation from our landlord. Having been going to Parga for many years, we had never been before. It is next to the bus station. The food is very good. Traditional home cooked good food and friendly attentive service. I had the pastisio, which was the best I'd ever had. Really enjoyed our meal and look... More

Tzimas was our first meal on our first visit to Parga three years ago, so we had to go back.So glad that we did ,it was well worth the walk from the other side of the town. The food is traditional. I had Mousakka, On it's own without the usual rice and salad that seemed to accompany the food in a... More

For us, Tzimas was by far the best restaurant in town with some of the best food we've ever had in Greece. Also ideal for vegetarians - don't miss the Imam and Saganaki! Meat lovers will enjoy the kleftiko or stifado. Very nice, quiet athmosphere and staff fluent in English and German. Rarely many guests, don't let this put you... More

We had a nice meal here. They had a vegetarian dish - Aubergine imam which I love - it was tasty but literally swimming in oil. The staff were friendly and service was good, but it needs to do more to complete with the better situated restaurants in town (it's on the main road).

We were recommended Tzimas and were not disappointed. It serves good quality and authentic Greek food. It's away from the Parga port and right next to the main bus station and our hotel, which was very handy after a full day trip on a bus. We had a tomato and fetta salad, tasty stuffed tomatoes, oven cooked aubergines and tzatziki.... More

We visited this restaurant during our recent stay in Parga. The food is delicious and truly authentic, not like some of the restaurants in Parga. It is not stylish and doesn't have any gimmicks, just serves real hearty food. The Gigantes - butter beans are to die for as are the stuffed peppers and tomatoes. My husband had stifado and... More

We had the slow cooked lamb which you have to order the day before , it was absolutely delicious . We ate there in June this year and the owner remembered us .It is on the top of our list for our next trip to Parga in June 2016!!
