We must have have been served by the owner, as we were made to feel very special. The restaurant was full of locals so we went in. Large meal at a very fair price with complimentary ouzo! Nice place to people watch in central Athini.

I would rate this place as average. Deffinetly for tourists. This establishment was highly recommended by our hotel. Not one I would recommend if you are looking for authentic Greek cuisine. Service was fine.

Our waiter suggested we have one meat platter and one fish platter to share between the 4 of us. Wow, we got more that we expected. Absolutely great!

The signage (in English) calls this a "barbeque" which means, in Greece, grilled. My wife and I had kebobs which were very good, mine of pork grilled just right to keep it moist and juicy. As is not uncommon the owner is out on the...More

The Ithaki was the first place my wife and I dined when we first visited Athens in 2014 so it seemed appropriate that we pay another visit. The food and service were both as we remembered them to be. My wife remembered how good the...More

Authentic Greek - from the delicious food, generous portions, great atmosphere and warm hospitality! Conveniently located to the Plaka, parliament, and the National Gardens, this is a "must-stop" for anyone visiting Athens, if you want to truly experience what the Greek's call, "kefi."
