After arriving in Athens with the flu, this place was my go to spot to get something warm and soothing. Ramen with pork: not quite the traditional egg noodles that you expect with ramen but the broth was tasty and there was a good amount of pork in the soup. Chicken wings: delish sauce and nicely deep fried full wings.

First off, the Noodle bar is aptly located close to the center which makes it accessible for customers. When I went there for a late lunch, I saw that the place was busy with lots of home-delivery being packed on the counter. "Looks like it's popular. The food must be great", I thought to myself so I ordered Tom Yum... More

Anyone who knows noodle bars knows the three signs of a great shop: 1. Lots of Asians eating there 2. No Sriracha in sight 3. They stick to 1-2 types of Asian noodles and don't try to "do it all" Noodle bar? Sriracha and white people everywhere, attempts at every kind of Asian noodle dish known to man except maybe... More

Good place to have lunch, it's located very close to syntagma metro. We had nice soup, salad with beef stripes, and noodles of course. It's an absolute value for money. Service is nice too. We go there very often.

This small Oriental fast food but cooked before your eyes in Apollonos Street, Place, Athens serves good and tasty dishes. Cheap and clean, with good service.

No need to study the menu as all the dishes taste exactly the same. Everything appears to be smothered in the same tasteless brown sauce. Some many good eating choices in this neighborhood so there is no reason to stop here.

I loved the Spicy Crab sushi. You have to try it out. Is a very nice restaurant and the prices are reasonable.

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
