Daphne's has a wonderful outside patio down a few steps from the busy Plaka area. The waiters joked with us and were extremely friendly. The helped explain the traditional Greek menu to us and some of the dishes had confusing descriptions. The menu is very...More

We ate here once for an evening meal and the food was stunning. The service was great and the waiting staff were smartly dressed. Probably the best steak in Athens.

Not the hippest place, but very elegant with great, classic Greek dishes. Note the photos of visiting dignitaries by the front door, including the Clintons, etc., etc. We were there for a special occasion (a significant birthday), and it was PERFECT for that.

We had dinner with the family . When the gentleman in charge sat us on our table 'informed ' us that their credit card machine just had a communication problem... but if someone looks over the reviews realizes that it is a standard procedure of...More

Tried the specialities (ie Lamb and pork), grilled (chicken breast and beef burger), greek salads and fried haloumi cheese. Foods are average, reasonable price. Best of all is the fried haloumi cheese.

Plaka

Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to
stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a
pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious
traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a
