Not that it's expensive, but the really small dishes were a little overpriced, and they tasted rather average, some of them a little better, some others a little worse. The decoration is ok.

Our family went here on our first night in Athens after a recommendation and were very happy with the whole experience. Nice Greek music and decor, fantastic food and really good service. Highly recommended.

We were 3 couples who went to this restaurant as it was recommended to us by a local person. We had mostly starter dishes, too many to recall them all, and rice pilaf (chicken risotto). Everything was very flavourful and the quantities were more than enough. It was washed down with a craft beer (Nissos). The total for all 6... More

We had lunch at Mpakalogatos (pronounced BakalΟgatos) two weeks ago and went away delighted. We were three couples and had a bit of everything. I loved the Ladovrochi salad: with crushed, crunchy but oh-so-light koulouri-rusks from the island of Kassos, drizzled with olive oil, cottage cheese and finely chopped tomatoes. I had to add some salt to the makarounes (Kassos... More

Our group of 5 was warmly welcomed into this lovely spot. We ordered a variety of items (goat stew, pork tenderloin, pasta with caramelized onions, 2 risotto dishes, Greek salad, tzatziki) and followed some of the chefs suggestions (fried zucchini, grilled cheese). Everything was fresh and delicious, service was excellent, and we had a relaxing and fun evening. Very good... More

We started with a few typical greek starters, after that lovely chicken risotto, shrimp spagetti (of which we both took te rest in a doggy bag and ate with 3 persons the next day, mmm) and marvellous prok stew in a red wine sauce. Good wine and tasty desert to share. All together for €100 (4 persons). Loved it!

Our group of 7 were warmly welcomed by the manager of this authentic Greek eatery. Aesthetics were traditional; food... Incredible. We had been advised to ask The manager, George, to 'bring us food to fill us' and he certainly provided this. We enjoyed around 10 shareable portions of salad, meats, fried vegetables and other traditional Greek dishes which were served... More
