The Ouzeri Tou Laki is located in a calm street in a very nice corner and has a very cosy interior that already promises very thoughtful and honest dishes. With a daily changing and always very fresh selection of a wide range of local fish and shellfish, you will always find the right thing for your taste. From crab, octopus... More

Hidden spot near to Victorias square in the center of Athens. For many the area is not to be wondered around, but if you wish to check the local side of the city its better to walk around. This ouzeri has great fish dishes and some of its recipes are new flavors for Greeks too. Try the steamed ray and... More

A really good ouzeri and fish taverna, well worth finding in a currently down-at-heel neighbourhood near Victoria Sq. Gavros (fresh anchovies) and red mullet were good and keenly priced. The tzatziki, melitzanasalata (aubergine dip) and fried chickpea balls were superb. Good white wine too. The menu is in a Greek, but an English translation exists too. A very friendly family... It is located in a small and quiet alley near Victoria station. We went there on noon and sat inside, because it was too much hot that day. We saw no tables outside, but maybe at night you'll find some outside. There was a variety of fresh fish and other sea food to chose from. We order two side dishes... More

If you are around Victoria square and have no spotted restaurant around, this place could be solution : it serves very fresh fish and see food very simply cooked (grilled or fried) that preserves the products quality. But this is a very greek and local restaurant with no english menu... meaning that if you are no greek speaker, it's difficult... More

Situated on a corner 'cul de sac' a fine, redolent musically decorated small joint. Lakis, the owner has been there for 31 years and offers an impressive variety of 'mezedhes'. The ouzo selection is fine and he can lead you accordingly (that is there is a ouzo connoisseurship not of the 'victim-of-his-own-romance variety). Plenty to choose from but the grilled... More

Ouzeri tou Laki (roughly translated as Laki's tavern) is a family-owned seafood tavern which has served fresh and reasonably-priced seafood since 1984. We had reserved for 8pm, considered early for Athenians to have dinner. The tavern is authentic, and there is nothing pretentious or fake about it. The seafood is very serious for such a small place. The fresh fish display... More

We tried this tavern early night. It is located at a not so bright or safe looking area but once there friendly and polite owner compensates this. Food is fresh but recipes aim for locals. Prices are really reasonable and atmosphere very friendly.
