I grew up in the neighborhood, I don't live there anymore, so visiting Mikra Asia is a great excuse for a return-and I do so frequently, because everything I get there is soooo tasty... I especially like their signature beidi kebab, their pita kesarias (with pastourma, a strong-tasting thin sliced meat, normally of camel), and their atzem pilaf, to be... More

This small restaurant is a litle gem inthe heart of Athens! Amazing food from a family run restaurant and the best kebab in town hands down! Do not let the first imression fool you, you just need to smell and you won't take a step further! Highly recomended for an easy going dinner that will exceed your expectations!

The food there is excellent and authentic Turkish. But don't go if you're looking for a nice environment and top quality service. You will go there to taste delicious food and trust me you'll be back for more! If you want "Atzem Pilaf" you have to call them earlier and let them know. Do it! its delicious!

Not just another kebabplace! Truly worth the experience, where even a simple salad turns out to be delicious for the herbs & spices. Wonderfully arranged plates of the tastiest food you may imagine in a place dedicated to kebabs. Close to the center. Takeawy possible. Very friendly & polite staff, obviously family-ruy.

You won't expect much from the outside of the restaurant, but be prepared to experience a special, but humble, meal. I visited in February, and honestly, they served the best tzaziki (sp?) that I've ever had at any time of the year in Greece. The cool yogurt tasted of garlic, cucumber, and mint. I ate the whole portion with the... More

Amazing original turkish tastes at fair prices. Everything we tried was excellent, the kebabs (beyti kebab), the hünkar beğendi, and the hot sweet künefe at the end. Few tables but very friendly service. Kurdish owners from Istanbul, the lady cook will try to explain in half greek-half turkish if you have questions about the ingredients.

Greece is famous for its grilled meats and kebabs and this is one of the best places in Athens to enjoy this kind of food. It's a little further than the tourist traps of Monastiraki, but it really worths a visit! Basically it's near Amerikis Square, 10-15' walking distance from Victoria train station (green line). You can also take a... More

Enjoyed a very tasty selection of meze dishes in this modest but friendly place. Great food and great value. The family who run it are from Istanbul, and the cooking reflects this with a mix of Greek and Turkish dishes. The place itself is small and pretty basic: a few tables outside, surrounded by some greenery, and more tables inside.... More
