Service was not great, coffee was getting cold fast. Apple pie was delicious. Location is beautiful (next to the Mitropolis Church). All in all expensive but nice food (3/5)

We were twice. The service was good. The food was tasty. It's a nice place to rest even though it's not in the way from the Acropolis.

Affordable and friendly service. Food was good, my chicken was a bit dry. But everything elss was great. Not as many Greek options on the menu as I'd expected, but there's a vegetarian selection available. This is our first restaurant experience in Athens, so we don't have anything to compare to.

It is situated in the heart of Athens just across the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens. You can have a simple coffee and enjoy the sun or you can have lunch or dinner. The service was immediate.Very polite and smiling waiters and ready to serve you.I took carbonara and it was a surprise for me.I was expecting with lot of sour cream... I'm sure you can have more than a glass of wine but we enjoyed a nice glass of wine, out side while watching pedestrians. Like any other major city you find a lot of beggars

You can't beat the location and it's always busy. Sit drink watch the world go by but don't eat here it's really bad. Good service, the girl patrolling the outside of restaurant works very hard. The tall guy in the blue shirt does absolutely no work.

Really nice place right on Cathedral Square with a great outdoor seated area. Really good food, mainly Italian but not exclusively so. I had a linguini dish which was excellent. Prices are decent and the service is good. Lovely ambience about the place and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

We sat outside, with the patio heaters on, it was a pleasant enough place to sit. Service good, Greek Salad ok, rather disappointing pizza. Too doughy and not tasty enough. The location is the thing here, right next to the Cathedral. Food very average.

In the centre of Athens, one of the best choices for a simple coffee to an elegant meal. Recommended to anyone who visits city centre and wants to combine prices with atmoshpere.

Staying in Plaka

Neighbourhood Profile
Due to its proximity to the Acropolis, Plaka remains the area where the majority of foreign visitors stay and play. Its attractive features include small squares, some notable museums and the beautiful Mitropolis cathedral, as well as a host of places to stay, eat and drink. Its pedestrian zones make it a pleasant place to escape from the city’s notorious traffic. Adrianou and Kidathineon Streets contain a number of souvenir shops, offering classier items than you will find in the Flea Market. The most rewarding section to explore is the upper reaches towards the Acropolis itself, where many old stone houses with tiled roofs have survived. Up here you can find leafier corners and the odd quaint taverna with unobstructed views of the ancient rock.
