dont know how people write negative reviews about this place. the best place for desserts at the best prices (and no i dont know them personally, i am actually not even from Greece). go for the chocolate sweets, they are the best.

I have visited "Ta Serbetia stou Psyrri" after my cousins' recommendation. We had "glyko tis agapis" and "tamam". Both of them were to die for!! Should definitely visit again!!

Excellent service, very friendly and helpfull staff. We ordered different sweets - all of them delicious. I would recommend this place to anybody who wants to enjoy their coffee or tea together with a special dessert.

Ta Serbtia is a new concept store selling old fashioned desserts in gigantic proportions. It would be the Greek equivalent to a UK "tea room" with all the tourist trap connotations the term brings. I had a fabulous kiunefe with kaimaki icecream-trully divine. My partner had a much much less successful carrot cake. The place is frequented primarily by Greeks... More

We came with 2 friends at Psirri and looked for a place to eat sweets. I had an awesome ekmek. I should ask though to warm it a bit. Free wifi and great place to chill out with a friends for coffee and Greek sweets!

The quality of the service has really deteriorated through the years. We politely said that our greek coffee was not good: the waiter instead of replying to us, went in the kitchen to pass our remark to his colleagues. He came back to say that the coffee was done right, but since we insisted, he could offer us another coffee.... More

Serbetia is just perfect. The portions are huge and the quality is excellent. Unfortunately this time they did not have the chocolate cake but again the variety was big. The friendly staff helped us choose. I selected the profiteroles with ice cream. Just perfect.

The tables were dirty, the sweets were too expensive and of poor quality. After eating, we had a stomache-ache. Poor location also.

Staying in Psirri / Gazi

Neighbourhood Profile
Psirri / Gazi
Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an interesting blend of original small businesses with the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of Keramikos, then cross busy Pireos Street to find yourself in Gazi. With the huge Technopolis performance and art complex converted from old gasworks at its heart, you really have to come at night to appreciate this maze of bars at its best, although a daytime stroll will allow you to admire the excellent street art.
